How to setup Personal HMI Lite apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Personal HMI Lite Description
Still in infant stage of development, this app is being offered to you to show what we are working on and to get your feedback.Summary of the App:
Personal HMI is the solution for Android Application to Siemens S7 PLC connections for a HMI. Send an SMS in the event of a PLC Alarm, vibrate and notification bar reminders.
Connect using S7 Connections or via Modbus TCP/IP.
Build a screen containing multiple buttons, indicators, text items and IO Fields to read/send data with the PLC.
Edit the item to setup the tag data, Bit, Byte, Word, Int and Floating points all supported.
Change the colours, either in ON or OFF state, change the Text in different states or if a tag equals a certain value.
Buttons presses for toggle of a bit, or sending a fixed data to a tag.
NEW: SMS of alarms.
Move the items around your screen and configure it how your would a normal HMI on a machine. Create your own display.
THIS SOFTWARE IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, AND AS ALWAYS YOU MAY FIND SOME BUGS. ALTHOUGH WE TRY OUR BEST TO RELEASE IT FULLY TESTED.

PLC:
Siemens S7 – 1200, 300, 400.
To use the S7 -1200, the standard DB – compatible with S7 – 300/400 has to be used. Not optimized DB!
Software is using libnodave library (http://libnodave.sourceforge.net/). Libnodave and this software are distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but without any warranty, without even the implied warranty or fitness for a particular purpose. Use entirely on your own risk. Please remember, that you can write to PLC memory and overwrite data.
